Just outside the inn is a large wooden porch with a few rocking chairs, a nice railing, wind chimes, and a large swing hanging down from the ceiling.

Nadine hummed softly, fingers outstretched as she sat on the porch stairs, just enough so that the rain brushed past her skin. Her hair was slightly moist, yet she didn’t mind. She loved thunderstorms. Even the loudest scream of thunder didn’t make her flinch. Instead, she continued humming softly, swaying back and forth a bit.

Tomoe hurried along through the thunderstorm, he rather liked the rain, but thunder storms made it a little harder to travel around. He hurried along, then heard the slight humming along nearby, and followed it, the only real thing he could find as navigation. He soon arrived at the porch, huffing from running to find somewhere to stay till the storm would pass over.
His tail brushed infront of him, and touched the stairs lightly and then smiled weakily, still standing in the rain. The pitch of the voice sounded firmliar in a way, maybe he had met this girl before.
"Excuse me, would you mind if I were to stay here until the storm passes?"

“’Course not!” Nadine answered, without looking up. When she finally did, ceasing her humming, she recognized it as the man from before. “Oh, hello Tomoe!” With a smile, she reached forward to gently grab his hand, and helped him sit down on the stairs with her, scooting back slightly so the rain no longer touched her. It wasn’t an action she did just because she knew of him being blind - she had a tendency to grab people and tug them around.

“Caught in the storm, eh?”

Tomoe was easily grabbed, him not being that strong and being rather frail. He quickly sat down where she put him upon the stairs and his tail quickly wrapped around his leg so not to be sat on or stepped on by acciedent. His ears lowered back and he smiled gently.
"Yes, It's rather..difficult for me to find my way around in thunderstorms."

Nadine absently wondered for a moment how exactly blind people were able to find their way around in a storm. There was so much noise and chaos going on - it had to be almost frightening. Casting the thought aside, she rocked back on the stairs, smiling as usual.

“I don’t mind ‘em so much. I like watching and hearing them. Sound of the rain and thunder. What not.” Her shoulder shrugged, and she let her eyes linger on Tomoe’s animal ears for a moment. It seemed everyone but her had them. When the realization that Tomoe was wet - and his clothes were - she frowned, setting into her “mother hen” mode.

“You’re not to cold are you? Since your clothes are all wet. You wouldn't wanna get a cold...”

Tomoe smiled and shook his head, following with his ears to shake to shake out all of the water that the fur had absorbed.
"No, I'm fine really, nothing to worry about."
He always hated people worrying, he had grown up with people babying and worrying about him so often, it made him feel bad when other's worried.

“Oh…Alright.” Nadine sighed softly, then perked back up, cheerfully explaining. “It’s just…I’m always worrying about people. I don’t like seeing others…hurt, ya know? In anyway.” With that small piece of personality out, Nadine stretched her arms out a little, feeling the rain again.

“So! I was you at the inn yesterday, and you seemed really interested in the piano. Do you play?” How a nineteen yeard old girl could be so childish and enthusiatic was beyond anyone.

Tomoe smiled, his ears laying back again in comfort and brushed some of the bangs from his face, for htey were sticking to his face from being wet and bothering him a bit.
"That's good that you have such sweet feelings of protectiving, you'd make a good friend to others." He gave a smile then she spoke of the Piano.
"Oh, I playe Piano often, it's the only instrument I play actually."

Goodness! Never met someone as nice as him. With a full, true smile - because most were forced - she leaned back on the porch, content with watching the rainfall.

“You’re so sweet you’ll give me cavities,” Nadine said, hearing his comment to her protectiveness, laughing gently. Her ears (normal, human ones) nearly perked up at his mention of the piano. “Oh! Music is always lovely - and I’m sure you’re very good at piano - it'd be nice to hear you play."

Knotting her hands together, she looked up at the sky. "I play the flute myself.”

Tomoe smiled at her comment, and tail now messing with a small puddle on a lower stair step.
"Why thank you." Commented Tomoe to her Cavity comment, with a slight laugh in his answer. He smiled and his ears twitched quiet cutely and then smiled again.
"The Flute, that's a wonderful instrument."

[cuteness overloaddd.]

Smiling again (both of them seemed to be doing it a lot), Nadine shook her head, then spoke up softly, “Yeah…My dad taught me while living in the woods. Taught me about herbs too, so I run a clinic in the meadows now.” Nadine noticed the storm had slackened and looked up, frowning slightly.

“Oh! I’m sorry, Tomoe, but I best be going. It was very nice talking to you - even if it was for a little.” She pulled herself up, and patted her wet hair down. “Hope to see you again!” she called, and ran off.

[gah. Gotta go.]

[[X3 Cuteness. Anyway, sorry, I keep falling asleep on the keyboard..]]

Tomoe smiled and waved goodbye in her direction, quietly resting on the stairs. He didn't feel like going anywhere, for the fear of the thunderstorm getting bad again, so he rested against the stairs and his ears laid back.

Ratio ran under the porch and skidded to a stop, he was sopping wet and not very happy. "My poor tail, it's be hours to dry and I'll have to bruch it later aswell.", he said to himself not realizing someone else was around. He sighed and his ears flicked constantly as they tried getting rid of all the water.

Tomoe's ears raised quickly as the new person had approached, he could hear his footsteps and then run onto the porch and ears raised, trying to tell where he was exactly. He turned his head to look behind him, for he was on the steps, and smiled to whoever was behind him.
"Did you get caught in the storm too?"

Ratio's ears perked and he looked at the man, quickly noting he was blind. He chuckled though and answered. "Aye, and I hate rain. My tail gets water logged and frizzy after all. Thats the thing with a fox tail, they're bushy and not ment for water." He smiled and cracked his neck. "But I suppose its just one of those things a fox has to live with. Names Ratio by the way."
Ratio wasnt just being nice because the man was blind, reallly, he wasnt. The smart ass part came up only when he felt it needed or wanted to be. This meeting didnt fit the bill for his bad side to come out.
