Blending

What's some good tools or methods to blend stocks, renders, text, etc...?

For stocks - I've been stuck using the lasso tool on feather and also just using an eraser with different opacities.

Text - I usually just find some good bold colors that go along with the design and sometimes use satin.

Any other methods you guys use?

I just don't do random bgs and use dodge and burn tools to blend... That's more than enough...

And for text, just choosing appropriate colors is the best method.

If I have a detailed/complicated background, I usually start by using the Magic Eraser and getting rid of large amounts at a time, then I use the regular Eraser and get up close on the image to erase what I didn't get with the Magic Eraser.
