Sadly enough, eventually threads must die. At that point in time they are sent here. You can also look back on all former clutches, flights, and hatchings here.

Weyrbowl
Barely a depression in the ring of mountains, it is obvious that the weyrbowl isn't all natural by the carved sides that still bear the marks of digging tools. Its large enough for a wing of dragons to all land at once, but not really for the entire weyr, and during summer months further construction can be seen, many people and hounds working to enlarge it.

Rider's Weyrs
Ringing in the silence, the rider's weyrs of Arawn are a somewhat creepy place to be, with the lingering scent of oils and dragons still remaining, some gear even left behind by dragonriders who went with their betweening dragons. Lately a few wherhounds and their partners have begun taking up residence in the lowermost weyrs.

Hound Halls
Formerly the wher caverns, the Hound Halls are slightly larger and airier than what they once were, the thick sheets hanging between handler and wher pit torn down and made to look somewhat more like a dragon's weyr. Though quiet, there is hope that these rooms will soon see a swelling when the first female Hounds begin their Runs.

Candidate Halls
Off to the side of the hatching caverns is a large barracks style tunnel built into the side of the main mountain, leading deeper and deeper before ending abruptly in sheer rock. Though spartan, the rooms are comfortable enough, and well protected and warm during even the cold winter months. Males and females are separated, but a large main room for meeting is often a populated spot.

Weyrling and Houndling Halls
Currently empty with the loss of all former dragons and the currently graduated Houndlings, the weyrling and houndling barracks are quite a bit larger than the candidate barracks, and a little bit more comfortable. They are built a lot like the candidate barracks, males and females seperated by gender (not by partner gender), with a large main room, as well as three large bathing pools. There is great hope that soon these halls will be full.

Bathing Pools
Recently discovered in a series of small, out of the way caverns, the bathing pools are volcanically heated pools of water which range in temperature from cool to nearly boiling (though these have been blocked off from use), and are a special meeting spot, especially during the winter.

Lower Caverns and Tunnels
One of the first projects of the first-come to Arawn, the Lower caverns and tunnels are an intricate series of maze-like tunnels snaking their way underneath the weyr. If you need anything, it can more than likely be found here. Entrances can be found beside the Kitchens, Meeting room, and Weyrling/Houndling Barracks.

Kitchens
Rather large for the weyr itself, the kitchens is also a popular meeting spot for all who dwell at Arawn, and one whole corner is taken up by more comfortable chairs, a sort of lounge area, where people who, tired of being alone, can come and talk, or just watch others.

Healer's Hall
While the plague was ongoing, work could be seen here day and night, healers attempting to save the dying, either dragons from Dragon's Bane, or the humans who were injured while their dragons fell, but now it is much quieter, which is more ominous than not.

Hatching Caverns
Largest of any area in the weyr, the Hatching Cavern is basically a huge cavern, naturally carved from the mountain, and filled with sand freshly drug in from Lysis, heated by the same method that the pools are heated, and constantly extremely hot. Able to easily fit three golds and their clutches at a time, it now seems rather empty with no Queen's to guard it.

Pupping Cavern
Formerly the wher hatching cavern, the pupping cavern now belongs exclusively to the wherhounds. Not needing the heated sands, the entire room is still warm enough even on the coldest nights, and filled with cloth covered straw, which is replaced after each birthing. Mother wherhounds come and live here while pupping until the pound the litter is bonded or ready to leave her.

Watchtowers
A ring of six watchtowers surrounds the weyr, a beacon of light shining out in the dark nights, and constantly manned by wherhounds and humans. While rare, there have been raider attacks.

Salle
A large auditorium-like cavern set just outside the weyr, the Salle is used by wherhounds and their bondeds as well as humans for all training and fighting purposes. Here is where Wherhounds come to choose which duties they'd like to assume, houndling and weyrling training occurs, as well as any weapons training a weyrdweller might choose to take.

Beast Bowls
Three interconnecting bowls in the valleys of the mountains surrounding Arawn serve as the living places for the weyr's herdbeasts, while another smaller bowl houses the runners (along with corrals and a riding arena.) Dragons regularly used to hunt here, thinning the herds and starting their Flights, but with their being gone, the populations of herdbeast have soared, allowing Arawn to send some out to the local holds.

Lake of Tears
A large lake formerly called Lothere Lake, the pristine waters have served Arawn for as long as they have been there. After the Turn of Mourning, it was renamed the Lake of Tears, and new legend states that the vanished Minyoueth drowned herself in it rather than Between when she lost her children.

The Skies
The skies around Arawn Weyr are beautifully clear must days, but the lack of any dragons flying causes pain in the hearts of most.

Mating Flights/Runs
All females eventually Fly or Run, and this is where they do it. Though most begin in the herdbeast basins, no female wishes to make her mating Run/Flight through that area, and so they do it here.

Threadfall
Ancient enemy of dragons, and now of the wherhounds, it is the duty of Arawn to protect against this threat, but will they be able to keep up with their greatest weapon now gone?

Plains
Ruled by several clans of bandits, as well as the Holdless and the Traders that wander through it, the vast plains of the western continent are a constant danger. Wherhounds old enough to fight and run do their best to patrol and police the Plains, but with foes as fast and smart as they are, its a tough duty.

Seas
If the Plains are run by the bandits, then the Seas are owned by the Pirates. Vast ships patrol the coastal waters, occasionally attacking the smaller cotholds, and even the major holds such as Konta and Lysis. Not quite as much a constant threat as the bandits, they can be much deadlier when they do strike.

Coast
The coastline of the western continent is rich in wildlife and resources, prompting the boom of population, and while only three major holds have sprung up, several minor cotholds have also begun to pop up as well, even with the threat of pirates.

Foothills
Between the more mountainous areas and the plains are the foothills, a wide spread of land that is slightly hilly, but certainly not flat. Game here is also plentiful, and there is slightly less danger from bandits since its generally patrolled by the weyr, as well as a group of mounted wanderers called the Kethin that live and hunt, and protect, here.

Mountains
Snowy, generally uninhabited areas of the mountains stretch around the plains to the north, west and south. There is great danger and little chance of surviving should one go too deep into their rocky, cold embrace.

Arawn Hold
The hold named after the weyr it was birthed by, Arawn Hold has incredibly close ties to the weyr, and is less than a half mile from it. The most protected and most populous, it has a wide range of crafters and supplies the most candidates to the Weyr.

Konta Hold
Furthest away from Arawn Weyr, Konta Hold has become increasingly dismissive of the weyr, turning their backs, hiding their children, and refusing to send their tithe. Incredibly rich in rare resources, it is also the most targeted by bandits and pirates.

Lysis Hold
Youngest of the three, and the smallest, Lysis Hold is nonetheless quite populous, and seemingly the happiest. Its populated mostly by younger adults and teens, with very few elders, and relies mostly on fishing and hunting to meet its needs, though it does specialize in a few crafts. Lysis Hold has some of the best weavers and jewelscraftsmen of the three holds.
