Weyr Information
It is currently Mid Winter
Snow has arrived in force. Inside the Weyr walking isn't so bad, but outside in the Plains it is a continuous drift to be plowed through ... or for the more adventurous tunneled through and turned into forts! But with frequent re-applications, it keeps everything so very eerily quiet, if stunningly beautiful. Those hearths sure are inviting right about now ...

Dragon's Teeth Range This is the long mountain range that divides the island in half and leads into the Sandy Hills.
This is a great place for a person, rider or not, to hide if they did not want to be found. Many caves and openings litter the mountain bases, though they are hard to see from above.

Forests These forests have not been named, and most have not been fully explored. Another wonderful place to hide, though not always for those who are intelligent. These thick forests hide many creatures that have yet to be seen by those of the Weyr, and many who are dangerous.

The Beaches Wide open beaches outline Sillion Isle, a nice place to go when one needs a break from Weyrlife. They would be hard to reach by someone without a dragon, sometimes impossible depending upon the season. If one wished to seek out flitter eggs, they would have a lot of ground to cover, but these warm beaches would be the best place to look.

The Other Isles Gold Queen Isle and Ralen Isle to the south of Sillion or Sailow Isle and Perching Isle to the north. Also the dangerous Lookout Crag to the north between Sailow and Perching. Dragonriders are welcome to journey to these areas.

The Plains The wide open, gently rolling plains that cover the rest of the island. Wild animals roam here in large herds, when not scared off by dragons. The grass grows deep, here, and there's no telling what a person might find there.

The Open Seas Wide open to the edges of the horizon, there is a lot of open ocean surrounding the Kindred Isles. Generally, it is not a nice place to go, as it is all to easy to get lost in a boat if you don't know what you are doing. Here is also the domain of large things that like to eat young dragons, men, and shipfish alike.
