Ok so I'm sure for the most part, all of you here have heard about the Campaign for the release of the Lestat OBCR that has been started by Jessica and Paula from HPN. If not, this is why I'm posting it lol

The cast recorded the show at Sony's studios in New York on May 22, 2006.

The cast was told to expect a July 11 release date.

For weeks, there was no official news, not even for those who had pre-ordered the cd through the merchandise kiosk at the theatre or through the sole on-line retailer offering it. Later, after many inquiries, a statement from Sir Elton John's management that there were "no plans to release it at present."

RELEASE LESTAT

We're all working very hard on getting this CD out. Many letters have been sent out, and this past weekend, some of the crew went to the Broadway Flea Market in hopes to catch some theatre lovers' attention with they're flyers and cheering. They did an excellent job in getting the word out there.

There are graphics that you can post on different message boards or any other site to get the word out. There are 5 addresses to write to. There is a message board where new campaign ideas are discussed. It's a great way to fight for this cast album!

This should have been posted much earlier; and I apologize for the delay. But, better late then never. And please, I ask of you, if you have not joined this campaign, to please join and help us out! We're working on getting this album out for EVERYONE. Lestat fans around the world! So please, if you care enough and want this CD as much as we do, check it out and see what you can do!

agggrhgfdsk;j. I miss all of that hype!!!

Oh gosh, this time last year we were all freaking out and making plans to take down Warner Bros! haha. Well not take down, but we did as best as we could.

The other day I was downstairs and my mom was holding my sandwich board and she asked me if I wanted to keep it. Boy did I freak out! pft. Of course i'm keeping the thing. I treasure that sandwich board and all the embarassing and triumphant moments I had with it!
