I moved your post to this forum, Bob. Hope you don't mind.

First of all, are you talking about a science fiction novel or a book about possible alien visits to Earth? You have to know exactly what you're looking for before you can start looking. smile.gif

Okay, so sort of speculation on the possibilities, then. Mostly non-fiction speculation, and I gather you're going to dig up all the research you can find for this.

You can start with this site: http://www.agentquery.com/agentquery/genre_descriptions.aspx
It allows free searches, and free is good. smile.gif

Writersmarket.com is also good, but you have to subscribe. What you can do instead is go to your local library and ask them if they have the Writers Market for 2005. It has lots of information on agents.

You can try googling "non-fiction literary agent" (without the quotation marks) and see what comes up, and then, whichever method you choose, make a list of possibles, and then check them through http://www.anotherealm.com/prededitors to find out which ones are legit and which are scam artists.

I have to run...client coming in...but I'll be back if I think of other good starting sources. Good luck!!
