This is the sequel to Bitten. At the end of Bitten Sam/Damien was stuck in the Witch's house forever.

Ever wondered what happens when a Vampire gets bored?

[Part 1]

Sam’s/Damien’s POV, Year: 1980

I lean back on the couch glaring at the wall. I’m bored. Well the good thing is recently I met another Vampire. That sounded odd. He bought the place, but lets me stay here. It’s not like I have a choice. Anyway…he remodeled parts of the house and that’s nice, I guess. But it’s still boring.

Over 192 years, no people have came into this house, it’s sad really. I want people to come but I don’t. Nathan thinks I have a spilt personality, maybe I do. Nathan’s that other Vampire. He mentioned something about bringing me food, and it didn’t click in my head right away what it was. Now I feel stupid. Really I’m a Vampire and Vampires only eat one type of food. I’m an Stupid Idiot! I hear a door open, but don’t move, finally Nathan came, but I smell an human with him. And I female one on top of that.

I stand up, walk to the front door and see Nathan with the girl by him. I look at Nathan oddly, a human has never came in here before. He nods slightly towards the hallway before he walks over there. I glance at the girl. She looks about 16 or 17. I shake my head then walk over and stand by Nathan.

“What’s with the girl?” I ask quietly and looking at him.

“Food, I can’t get the packets of blood right a the moment, so I brought you food.” he replies quietly.

I shake my head no looking at him. He sighs.

“She wants to be turned but if you kill her, it’s not like she’d know the difference.”

I blink looking at my friend, he has a point….but “Are you crazy? I’m not going to do that.”

“It’s either that or you starve.”

I sigh muttering 'fine'. He nods before walking to leave. But he stops talking to the girl before he leaves. I walk back into the living room and sit on the couch walking past the girl.

I feel like I want to hit my head against the wall! This girl never shuts up. How long can a person talk without loosing breath? I sigh looking over at her. I don't think she's noticed I stopped listening.

"Why do your eyes have blue in them? Why do your eyes change color?"

I think a minute leaning back on the couch and look over at her "...magic"

"Really?!"

I hold in a laugh sitting up.

"That is not funny!"

I nod my head 'yes' laughing. She stares at me glaring. I sit up all the way trying to stop laughing. I haven't laughed in a while. After a minute I stopped laughing and glanced at her. But the odd look she was giving me only made to start laughing again.

[Part 2]

I sigh looking at the kitchen table. Maybe it would be better if that girl wasn’t here...

“There you are! You wander around this house too much.”

I hold in a growl letting my head rest on the table top. I glance over at her when I hear a chair being pulled out.

“What’s your name?” I ask.

“I told you my name already.”

“Well....I wasn’t paying attention.”

“It’s Chalice.”

I nod my head slightly, letting my gaze drift over to a wall.

“You never answered my question.”

“What question?” I mutter lifting my head up and looking at her.

She smiles looking at me. I scowl in reply leaning back in the chair.

“Oh....uhh...why are you being so rude?”

“Your not even suppose to be here that’s why” I reply.

She frowned and turned away from me. I watch her a minute taking in her full appearance. Long curly brown-blonde hair and light green eyes. Sometime when I was taking in her appearance my gaze ended up on her neck. I shake my head standing up. I walk over to the fridge opening it. I look through it trying to distract my thoughts.

Well this isn’t working. I shake my head again as I close the fridge. I walk over to the stairs and up them to my room. I walk over and fall onto the bed. After a second I roll over onto my back and stare at the ceiling.

I thought I locked my bedroom door I think glaring at the person standing by my door. Chalice.

"What?" I ask looking at her.

"There's nothing to do here."

"I'm very aware of that."

"Let's do something."

"How about we don't and say we did."

She frowned at my retort. I looked at her a minute before I got off my bed. I walked over to the closet and walked in. I closed the closet door and changed into clean clothes then opened the door again. Chalice is in my room looking at the items on my bookshelf and shelves near there. I scowl walking up behind her. Nosy person.

"Do you enjoy walking into people's rooms and looking at their things?"

She jumps turning around. I close my eyes for a second. Maybe I got too close...It seems like I can only smell her blood...ahhh crap!

"I'm sorry. Really I am." she replies quickly.

I nod my head in reply smiling ruefully. She looks at me strangely a minute

"You sure?" she questions stepping towards me.

I step back and to the right to avoid walking into the bed. She stops walking and looked like she was taking in my appearance.

"Nice outfit." she says sweetly.

I look at her fighting the urge to laugh. She can't be serious. Does she think acting nice will work?...maybe if I get to know her...I won't want to drink her dry.

"Why are you here? Won't your family be missing you?"

"I don't have any. Their all dead."

That just makes this so much easier-- I turn around swiftly and walk out of the room. I hear her following behind me, at a normal pace. I slow my walking down when I'm halfway down the hall. I glance down at my hands and release them from the clench. I grimace slightly looking at my bloody hands. I hadn't even realized I was doing that. I need to remember my strength...that hurt.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine" I mutter.

I flex my hands a minute waiting for them to heal.

"What's wrong?"

I shake my head smirking slightly. She tilts her head to the side giving me a confused look.

This is going to be fun...

[Part 3]

I lean back in the chair opening a book. I glance up and look around the library a second. The library is a decent size but, not too big since it's in the house. I wish it was bigger. I've read almost half of them already. I wonder how long it will take to read all the books? I look back down at the book, but I'm not noticing the words. My mind keeps drifting off. Chalice...It's been a week since she got here. I lean my head back closing my eyes. I set the book over my face and sit there enjoying the odd silence of the house. I rub my throat after a minute, it feels too dry.

You know your just tormenting yourself by not drinking. I growl in reply to his comment. Really? How long are you going to ignore the thirst? For as long as I can, I reply. But it would be so easy, she wouldn't know the difference. How about no? I question. Your making this too complicated Sammy. Shut up! I growl. Oh, by the way she's in the room.

I jump when the book is picked up off my face. I blink looking at her.

"Hi."

I look at Chalice, noticing her full scent for the first time.

"Your...not human."

"But I have human blood and that's what you want."

I watch her as she stepped forward a bit setting the book down on the table.

She's human, it's her scent it's just messed up. Just drain her! I frown at his comment. If her scent is messed up doesn't that mean something?

"What's wrong?"

I shake my head standing up. I glance up at her after a minute.

"...Soo do you want to do something?" she asks.

"Like?" I question tilting my head to the side a bit.

"Uhh...I don't know."

I hold in a laugh looking at her.

"OH! I know we can play a game."

I blink looking at her "A game?"

She nods her head in reply.

"Sure, what game?"

"Really?" she questions.

I nod my head in reply.

"We could play hide-n-seek"

She's not serious is she? I think she is, I reply.

"Ok." I say, looking at her.

"Not it! Uh you need to count to a hundred."

I nod in reply looking at her. Did she forget she's playing this game with a Vampire? This game's going to end quickly. I'm just doing this to distract my thoughts, I reply. I know. But we both know how quickly it'll end.

"Turn around, close your eyes and start counting."

I turn around closing my eyes and start counting.

"One, two, three, four, five..." I trail off when I hear her walk out of the room. "One-Hundred."

I open my eyes turning around. I walk over and stick my head out into the hall. This hallway is one of the shorter ones in the house. I walk into the hall sniffing the air lightly.

Your not going to change your mind are you? Nope! Sorry Sammy, I state. Why can't we just leave her alone? Because you didn't handle your thirst, so I'm here and will be for a while. This will be fun, I reply. I hate having a split personality. It's like I'm insane. You are. You have conversations with yourself all the time, I respond. Shut up! There you go again, I reply. He growls in annoyance. I laugh quietly as I walk down the hall. I frown stopping mid-step. I growl realizing that I'm having conversations with myself too If I'm talking to him. I growl again when I hear him laughing.
-----

There was part three. I had fun writing the parts where Sam is talking to himself....that was interesting. Anyway hope you enjoyed that chapter.

[Part 4]

I sit in the chair watching my friend pace back and forth. I guess this is how he handles shock.

"I can't believe you did that!"

"Your the one who brought her here." I add watching him.

"I didn't think you'd do what you did!"

"You said, she wouldn't notice if I turned her or not. So..."

"SAM!"

I growl glaring at him.

"Sam...Damien! You know what I DON'T CARE, WHAT YOUR NAME IS! YOUR CRAZY!"

I frown, why does he have to yell? I tilt my head to the side replying "How?"

"Even for a Vampire, what you did is messed up."

I lean back in the chair and blink. I really don't think it was that bad...I think your over exaggerating. I think resisting the urge to roll my eyes or laugh.

"Did you even see what you did?" he asks pointing into the hall.

I let my gaze go to the entrance of the hall. "I got hungry. What's wrong with that?"

You know how I said I thought Nathan handled shock with pacing. Well I take it back. He handles it with laughing. After I said my last statement he just starting laughing. Laughing like a crazy person.

"My friend is Psycho." Nathan laughs out.

"I resent that." I reply glaring slightly.

"What do you call what you did, then?" he questions pointing to the hall again.

"She was annoying and I was hungry." I reply shrugging.

He sighed and looked back at the hallway.

XxX

I look up from the sandwich I'm eating and at the door way to the kitchen. Nathan's shaking his head as he walks in.

"You can NOT repeat what you did. GOT it!"

I nod my head slowly in reply swallowing the bite of my sandwich I just took. He sounds like he's scolding a small child.

"You know, you don't have to emphasize certain words. I'm not four years old."

Nathan glares at me and I can tell he's holding in some curses.

"...right, no repeats. Got it." I reply nodding my head.

"Just don't repeat it, We don't need any Hunters showing up."

I nod my head in agreement. Hunters are just annoying...but. After that my thoughts went to one of Nathan's friends.

"Isn't one of your friends a Hunter. "

Nathan turned towards me glaring. I hold in a laugh hearing him growl. He's to easy to annoy, I think letting the laugh out.

XxX

I rub the side of my head slightly trying to make the pain go away. I don't know what happened but my head hurts. I leaned back against the counter after I notice my vision got blurry. I close my eyes hopping the pain and bad vision will go away.

When I open my eyes again I see Nathan staring at me strangely. I blink looking back at him "What?"

"Do you know what you did?"

I look away from him thinking then back at him shaking my head 'no'.

[Part 5]

When you solve one problem you get another one thrown at you. I think it’s always like that. Or that what it seems like that today. After my episode with Chalice, I really didn’t want to talk to anyone or see anyone. I ripped her throat out. I remember talking to her. I was acting like I liked her and she believed me. Then I just snapped, I guess. Because the next thing I know I’m at her throat. I shouldn’t be around others. I really don’t want to deal with anything. I don’t know why he even trusts me, I tried to attack him yesterday and didn’t even realize it…why’d I even attack him? I blink staring up at the ceiling confused. These last few days seem to be packed full of drama and go on forever. I roll over on my side and look at the wall. It’s too quiet now…

I blink clearing my blurred vision. When did I fall asleep? I think with a yawn. I prop myself up with my elbows and glance around the room noticing I forgot to pull the curtain closed. I blink staring at it. Oh…well. I yawn leaning back on the bed. I lay there a minute letting myself wake up fully. Rolling out of bed, I walk to my closet and grab a set of clean clothes then head in the bathroom. After getting cleaned I walk over and stand by my window, as I dry my hair. I look out the window, letting my eyes scan over the areas I can see. I’m pretty sure I heard something. I narrow my eyes at the thought. The only people that come near this house are stupid humans and the occasional vampire.

If I could still breath, I would stop breathing. A person just walked up to the door. I concentrate on that person’s scent. It seems familiar, but not at the same time. I stand there a moment mentally debating weather or not to go a see if my thoughts on who it was are right. Shaking my head I toss the towel on my bed and go downstairs. Really, it can’t be Lily. She’s dead….that guy killed her. I frown at my own thoughts as I stop at the bottom of the stairs. But that person’s scent smell’s so similar to her's. I let out a shaky breath before walking towards the front door. I open it leaning again the side of it.

“What-” I go to ask, but my question dies before it can get out.

The person standing in front of me is the mirror image of Lily. I blink staring foolishly at the girl standing there. How is this possible?

She laughs slightly tilting her head to the side “Sam?”

My stupidity clears hearing her voice. It is Lily and her scent has that vampiric aura added to it. Blinking again I look back at her quiet. How’s she a vampire? Why is she a vampire? And how did she find me? And her scent, her vampiric aura smells real familiar. I step back keeping my eyes on her. That one vampire, the one with the mind power, his scent is on her. That’s why I recognized her vampiric aura, it’s almost like that guy’s.

“What did you do?!” I growl staring at her. My life is crap. Why does my little sister’s have to be too?

“Umm..” she look away and down at the ground. “He said he would find a way to help you. We talked before that and he was nice.”

“Before?! Lily! How’s” I growl pointing from me to her “this helping?”

She looked back at me, her brown eyes sad. “Sammy…I wanted to help.”

I sigh looking back at her. It’s like being a vampire doesn’t even effect her.

She shook her head looking at me with a smile “Now we get to be family forever.”

“Right” I reply with a slight laugh. Still the annoying little sister. I think leaning back against the doorframe. I don’t know if I can handle this, something’s off about her. I feel like I have a headache. Can vampires even get headaches?

“Sam, can we go inside and talk more?”

I blink looking at her. “Huh…yeah” I reply nodding my head.

I turn around and walk back inside, hearing Lily follow and the door shutting.

“Umm, I ran into your friend, he told me how to find you.”

I stop walking and look back at her answering quietly “Oh.”

She blinks looking at me.

Sammy? You ok?

I jump hearing her voice in my head. It’s just like his power. It’s that same feeling. I growl narrowing my eyes at her. She looked away muttering ‘sorry’ both in my mind and out loud. I glare at her a minute before looking away. All this is too much. With everything going on. What if I hurt her?

[Part 6]

I roll over trying to burry myself under my blankets away from her, my sister. Since she’s been here, everything seems odd. It’s wired having her here after me thinking she was dead for all those years. Well she was dead; she was a Vampire…and that still sounds weird saying it.

“Sam! You awake?”

I pull my pillow tighter over my head muttering “No, sleeping”

“Right, that‘s why your talking?”

“Well, I’m trying to sleep.” I add to my previous statement.

“Come on, it’s time to wake up, so we can celebrate.”

“Celebrate what?” I mutter, from under my pillow.

“Your birthday. And before you say anything, I know it’s not your birthday but I want to celebrate it. Besides Nathan’s downstairs and you need to get up and dressed.”

My pillow-shield disappears and I roll over glaring at Lily. She tosses the pillow aside looking at me. “Move.”

I nod my head ruefully as I sit up. She flashes me a fanged smile before going out of the room. Sighing I get out of bed and unhurriedly go to my closet to grab a set of clean clothes. How’d she even get Nathan here? He doesn’t like staying here for long periods of time. He says the place just has a odd feel to it. I shake my head dismissing Nathan’s odd behavior and head into my bathroom, for a shower. After my shower I’m standing in front of the mirror slowly drying my hair. As I’m drying my hair I hear talking downstairs. I focus my hearing on down there. It’s Nathan and Lily talking. Noticing that I ignore it as I stop drying my hair. I let my gaze wander to the mirror as I’m thinking.

I know I said she didn’t change, but she did. She’s more demanding now. It’s odd, she’s not the same person anymore. I frown watching my ghostly reflection. And with her power I have to use a mind block. That takes to much energy, all I’ve been feeling lately is exhausted. I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Lily yell at me to hurry up. I glare at the direction of her voice a minute before I finish drying and pull on the clean clothes.

Going down stairs I head to the kitchen hearing Nathan and Lily argue again.

“You can’t just sit here! You have to help. You’re his best friend!”

“You’re the one that wanted to have this party. You’re his sister. Besides, he’s not mortal anymore, so it’s just another year to add to his being”

Lily growled turning away. She spots me and points to the chair next to Nathan. “Sit-down, when I get back, we’ll celebrate.” After her statement she stormed past me and upstairs.

I blink looking over at Nathan. He shrugs in reply, looking just as confused as I am. Shaking my head I walk over and slide into the chair she pointed to and sink down a bit. Nathan glanced over at the stairway then back at me.

“What’s with you? You look like your not even here.”

I shrug slightly looking at the table. It feels like I’m just been going through these last couple of weeks without really paying attention.

“You look, really spaced out. It’s her isn’t it? She sure is persistent.”

I nod in agreement trying to wake myself up. I’ve been stuck, I don’t know how to deal with Lily. It’s almost like she’s a different person. I close my eyes feeling my drowsiness attempting to take over.

“Sam?”

“Hmm?” I ask keeping my eyes closed.

“You need to be careful”

I open my eyes and look over at him oddly. What is he going on about? “What? Why?”

“Your both Vampires now. Being a Vampire changes the way a person thinks. I’ve heard of some bad things happening to people. You two may be family, but being a Vampire warps that. It can really destroy a persons brain. Just be careful.”

“Yeah, okay, thanks.”

He nods his head smiling slightly, his whole appearance miserable looking. I watch him a second thinking over what he said. But I’m jarred out of my thoughts when Lily comes back downstairs again. I glance over at her a minute then away concentrating on the mind block. Before I glanced away, I see her give me a odd look. I ignore it, deciding to change the subject.

“So, how are we celebrating?” I question glancing at Lily then Nathan.

With a sigh I walk back into my room and change into pajamas quickly. Then fall onto my bed and go under the covers. That party was so tiring. Through out the whole thing I had to keep the mind block tight. It seemed like Lily was keeping a close eye on me. Wonder if she heard me and Nathan’s conversation? I close my eyes burying myself in the blankets. Being a Vampire changes the way you think. Lily defiantly changed, something needs to be done about it. Those are my last thoughts before I fall asleep.

"Sam!"

I groan annoyed pulling the blankets tighter around me with a growl. I wasn’t even asleep an hour. “Go away”

Sam!” with that annoyed voice I feel something smack my shoulder.

I sit up quickly and grab her arm, stopping her from doing it again. She glares at me in reply.

“What I’m trying to sleep.”

You were trying to hide it from me? Your planning something, aren’t you?

I stare confused at her for a second, then I realized what she’s talking about. I drop her arm muttering ‘crap.’ She glares at me as she sits up straight. I roll out of bed quickly and stand up looking at her. “Don’t even start talking.”

Why? Because your going to attempt to lie. You want me dead. Right?

I open my mouth to speak but close it again, not knowing what to say. I look down at the floor muttering “Lily.”

She stood up and walked over stopping in front of me tilting her head to the side slightly “So it is true. So Sam, tell me why you want me dead.

With her last question she leaned forward some, getting closer to my face. Along with that, each word she said had more of a growl to it.

I step back shaking my head. Crap, she keeps using her power, okay I might of thought about wanting her dead when I was dreaming, but she‘s not helping, with the way she‘s acting. How’d she even piece everything together? “Lily, just calm down.”

She rolled her eyes laughing “Do you hear yourself when you talk and think? None of your thoughts and words connect.

I glare at her holding back a growl. Her eyes snapped back to me and she narrowed them crossing her arms over her chest. For a second I think my thoughts just stopped. It felt like a current of pain flashed through my body. I blink staring blankly at her. No. No. No, not this. She's just like him. I growl with the last thought and grab my hair pulling at it slightly when I feel another jolt of pain. I stumble back when I notice her walk towards me.

I shake my head watching her “Lily please, I wasn’t actually going to do anything.”

Liar!” she snaps pushing me back with a growl. I land and glance down noticing I landed in a chair. I look back at her opening my mouth to speak. She growls cutting me off as she leans forward. Putting both her hands on the armrests of the chair and leans forward. I lean back in the chair closing my mouth and trying to put up the mind block again.

You say that, but you don’t mean it. I know your thoughts." She growls and at the word ‘thoughts’ she tapped my forehead.

I flinch back at her painful touch, wishing I could be anywhere but here. I can’t even get the mind block up. Someone help.

[Part 7]

I knew I was going to do something like this. I just knew I was! She kept using 'that' power of her's. It was like she was trying to stab her way into my mind. Every time she used it, I kept feeling like I was being stabbed, and if she really concentrated the stabs got stronger and sharper. She wouldn't stop, she kept using it, and I had to do something to make her stop. Now she's upstairs in my room, on the floor bleeding to death, with her head barely attached, and me on the bottom step of the stairs covered in her blood.

I don't know how long I've been sitting on the bottom stair in the kitchen. After what I did to Lily I came down here and have been sitting here since. I've just been looking at the wall on the other side of the room, avoiding the floor and my body from the neck down. Earlier I heard blood from my hand drip onto the floor. I haven't looked down since I heard the soft plop of liquid. I can still feel her blood on me too. Nathan's suppose to be stopping by sometime today. I think, hoping to distract my own mind. It keeps repeating what happened earlier.

Me and Lily were arguing and I was trying to calm her down. She was to ticked, when she started using her power I panicked. She wouldn't stop and I apparently have no control. I snapped and attacked her. I close my eyes trying to find another smell to concentrate on, but give up after a minute. The scent of her blood is too strong. I should go change clothes. Even as I thought that I couldn't make myself move. It was like my brain shut down because of shock. Which would be accurate.

"Sam? What happened?"

I blink looking up at the voice, it sounded curious, worried, and panicked. When'd he get here?

"Nath-an" I mutter, splitting up the syllables. My brain must be fried and I must look like a scene. My shirt and hands are stained in blood and I'm shaking. And all you can smell is blood, her blood.

He frowned as he crouched down to my level in front of me "You ok?"

"No-" I trail off and freeze when I notice I ran my stained hands through my hair, like I do a lot of the time. I drop my hands to my sides, muttering 'no' again, and still shaking.

Nathan nodded his head in reply as he stood and walked past me up stairs. On the way up he stopped by me patting me on the back. "Why don't you take a shower down here, while I take care of upstairs." After that he continued upstairs.

I turned watching him go up then stood up and walked out of the kitchen going down the hall and towards the bathroom. The whole time not really thinking. I ended up taking six showers trying to get the blood and scents off me. When I got out my skin was fading from a light pink to it's normal paleness. I scrubbed my skin raw, trying to get every trace of everything off. I grabbed both towels off the rack-thing, wrapping one around my waist and used the other to dry my hair. I frowned realizing I didn't have any clothes downstairs. All of them were upstairs in my room. Growling annoyed and pull at my hair through the towel, great, just great.
