The alliances between Spain and Italy with England have never been stronger, and together they are a trinity of an overwhelming force. But France and Scotland remain their vengeful sores, their prides hurt and dignities tired of having to shrink and hide. Louis XII of France, long exhausted of England and Spain, has sent his court's spies into the English country and has deployed them under the cover of England's own Edmund de La Pole's household. Edmund, with nearly every vein blue with old royalty, is sour with the Tudor dynasty and has found it time for it to come to a toppling end. Keeping up the facade of a good countryman that has sworn the oath to Henry VII, Edmund and Louis' French spies are working together to gather what they can to end what has become Arthur's baseless dynasty and Katherine's strong Spanish grip on England.
