1.) This is an X-Men Movie-verse site. As such there is no Iron Man (even if Robert Downey Jr was awesome as Mr. Stark), no Fantastic 4, no Spider-Man, no Hulk. Just X-Men.

a.) Comic Characters: The movie-verse is terribly limited compared to the vast amount of characters in the comic-verse, this I know. So you can play characters that regrettably never made it to the big screen, like Banshee or Cannonball or Quicksilver. I just ask that for those comic characters with the...erm, wilder histories, you know, the ones with time travel and alternate time lines and such in them, that you tone them down to fit the movie-verse which is admittedly more grounded in our reality than the comics.

2.)No plagiarizing. I want your app in your own words so I know you at least know a little something about the character you are about to play. Now, it doesn't all have to be off the top of your head, you can do a little research but no copying and pasting from other sites or applications.

3.) Original Characters (OCs): Original Characters are allowed, but submit a Mary Sue and I will hunt you down and eat your firstborn child. Srsly.

4.) Ages: If you've perused the site a little before applying or while your applying, and you see that there's about 10 characters who are aged 18, it might be a good idea to apply as someone who is not 18. Just be mindful that not all of the X-men are going to be in high school. Bad guys especially should be a little bit older. Xavier's excuse is that he's got a school to run, Magneto does not have a school to run. Get it?

5.) Follow the template provided in the Applications section. I put the template there for a reason.

6.) When posting your application, in the title of the thread put: Character's LAST NAME, Character's FIRST NAME. In the description part put your character's code name, if they have one.

7.) As you can see by the rules here, I can be a bit wordy when it comes to explaining things. I'm the same on applications unfortunately. So, if you apply and I look it over and you come back and see a paragraph or two of words, DON'T PANIC. I like to help appliers out by pointing out something that I think could be fixed and then suggesting ways or ideas on how it could be fixed. Usually it's along the idea of "You're app is great, but if you could fix blah and blah, that would be awesome. [insert my ramblings about how it could be fixed/tweaked here which you can feel free to use or completely ignore]". So fear not my wordiness for it is more afraid of you than you are of it.
