In your introductory post, please introduce your character: name, age, and physical appearance. Give details about how your character is feeling as he or she experiences the following situation:

QUOTE ("STUDENT INTERVIEW")

It is the last Sunday of August, and he or she has been led through the Winchester Mystery House and through a door that when opened, was blocked up with brick. Somehow, he or she managed to walk right through without feeling a thing, and is now sitting in the waiting room with the other students waiting to be sorted. It is a small room with a large open window and long blue drapes. Around the edges of the room are several plush armchairs and sofas of varying capacities. In the center of the room stands a podium upon which rests a large, open book. Your character makes his/her way over to it and notices that there is a quill hovering above the book. As prompted by the text at the top of the page, your character  signs his or name in the book, and is instantly transported into another room, smaller than the first, with a fan running to ward off the August heat. There is a single armchair in the center of the room, and your character sits down in it.
