A New Family.

[Frame]

Puppieses! Black auds swiveled, listening to the echos of water dripping in the cave. The resounding sounds, little by little, faded away. Her amber optics blinked in wonder as she looked around the caves. Reds, greens, blues, purples. They all glistened from the walls, making her eyes glisten. A smile crept onto her face as she continued into the cave, looking at the dens lining the walls, and trying to see the end of the tunnel. Her wagging tail lagged behind her as she padded along. Dens passed as she continued, unaware of where it would take her. She stopped when she smelled a different scent up ahead. She turned back, begining to walk back to her packland, she felt a lurch in her stomach. On, no! The puppies! She walked over to a small den, slowly and painfully. Frame did not like this. This hurt! When she finally forced herself onto her side, pain ripped at her stomach. Soon after, she felt something.. Weird. As pain grasped her again, a puppy sprout from her. She looked down at him and smiled, she licked him clean and brought him up to her nipples to suckle. As he drank, more pain ripped over her. She looked down at her little boy, than switched her gaze to her newest pup, a little girl. She smiled, repeating the process of cleaning and placing. She couldn't beleive this, an hour later and she'd had four pups! Two girls and two boys! This was wonderful, but she needed to talk to Korry about names. That when her supposed last pain hit her. She'd witnessed births and thought that it was the sack you ate. No. It was another puppy. An all white little puppy. Her eyes widened and she stared down at him, he was so small. She brought him up to drink. Placing him into her fur farther, for the floor of the cave was cold, and she didn't want her puppy sick. She layed there as they drank, she'd eaten her afterbirth, she wanted to howl for Kortation, but was exhausted now.. She lifted her head, none the less, and let out a howl. It ripped through the air. She smiled, their father would be there soon, and they'd meet soon enough. She looked down at her five little babies. She nuzzled at her babies before she layed down again, curling her body around them, they needed the warmth. One looked like her, a single patch of white on her chest, her two larger males looked like Kortation, her other girl looked like her, all black. And the last one, he was all white, he was the different one here. She smiled. Being different was good.

x[Out.Of.Character]x AGHHHBAGGGHAAABHAHAHAB!! PUPPEHSS! Oh yes.. i realized. I didn't change the border color on your table.. my bad. x[Back.In.Character]x Wandering around.. sniffing now and then. He was hungry, and a bit grumpy. He woke up extra early so he can catch himself something to eat. His goldenrod optics trailed along the forest, looking for anything. His eyes caught a rabbit. It was tan and white, and had big black shiney eyes. It quickly squirmed off as Kortation was ready to pounce on it. His hind legs lurched his whole body foward as he tried to snap at the creature. Fur flew up into his windpipe as he didn't have any breath, for he used all of his might on trying to kill the animal. He stepped back, his tongue hanging out of his mouth, gagging. He coughed up hair.. and something odd-looking. It was chunky and red. Kortation looked at it. Had I thrown up my own stomach? He thought as he examined the odd piece that had just come out.. out of him. Kortation looked up at the sky. It was starting to get dark. He began to get really puzzled. Out of him.. Out of her.. Out.. He thought, and then he realized. He couldn't help but yell out loud, "SHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIITT!!!" Just when he had finished his pointless holler, his mate's call reached his ear. His aud pointed foward as he then cacculated where she was. She was in the caves. Quickly, without food, he sprinted into the direction of the caves. He heard it as her booming howl still echoed through the caves... and his eardrums. He went inside, and a colorful view came into view. The crystals shined beautiful colors, almost blinding his eyes. He searched and searched until he picked up her scent. He came to a den entrance where he fainly deciphered a black body, and many small ones. They were here. A smile came across his maw, and he placed his haunches on the ground, watching the bodies make their way in all directions. He could see them- two look-a-like Kortations, two look-a-like Frames, and one white. White? He stared closer. "I don't have any white markings. Why is he.." Kortation couldn't help but say out loud. The answer came to him.. slowly, though. "Nevermind..." He blankly said. His father was an arctic wolf. No matter the fact, how did his son inherit this? Both Kortation and Frame wheren't white, but how would the wolf all of a sudden inherit his father's? Maybe Kortation had the blood of a real White wolf, but just the fur of a Grey. He smiled, nevertheless, and enjoyed the soft whimpers of the pups in the small opening to a crystal cave in the midsts of a wonderful packland. A home for these new wolves.

[Frame]

Puppieses! Frame smiled, she had no idea why one was white.. But apparently Korry did. Amber optics trailed to the small fae. She has white on her, as well. She said, softly, so she didn't wake the now sleeping pups. That, my friends, is when something hit her that she didn't think of... Names. Her head lifted from between her paws, up to face her beloved. We need to think of names... And than it was silent. Save for an occasional whine or yip from one of the pups, but Frame would quickly silent them. Frame thought a long while whilst attending to the pups. That's when names hit her. I want the white one's name to be Orpheus. And the small black one, withe white on her to be Riven. I need more names though... She said, smiling up at him. Her eyes looking innocent as possible. That was until Orpheus gave a sharp whine, she licked him, assuring him she was there. He began to eat again, the others still sleeping. Kortation could name two, she could name two, and then they'd agree on a name for the last one. She curled around the pups again, though her head was risen so she could speak to Kortation. It was his turn to think of names.

x[Out.Of.Character]x ... x[Back.In.Character]x Kortation didn't know what to name them. He thought long and hard. Names found their way to the base of Kortation's head. "Uhh.. that one right there," he said, pointing to his look-a-like son, "Osiris.." and he pointed to a black female who looked a bit small. "That one will be... Freya." He came into the den to get a little bit closer to the pups.. no, his pups. He lightly pressed his cheek against Frame's, and stared at the wonderful pups, expecially looking at the white one. He was so small. But he resembled Kortation's father so much, they would not lose him. Kortation just wouldn't let it happen. He watched as the bodies began to fall asleep. That's all they'd do for a while. They'd wake up, eat, and then fall back asleep. A month or so would pass, and they can come out of the den and look at their birthplace- a wonderful cave with crystals that shine so many hues. Kortation said to Frame after a minute, "These are some lucky pups, huh?" They were lucky. They were born in such a glorious cave, born to handsome and beautiful parents, and could possibly have the life they would want at this age. What more could a small pup ask for?

[Frame]

--- Frame licked Kortation's cheek as he lightly placed his on hers. Yes, they are lucky. When they first open their eyes, they'll see a pretty place, a pretty daddy and be the heirs to a pack. She looked at the last one.Time... She muttered, thinking that in time they would get so big and grow. I know what your name is, my heir to the thrown... She said, nuzzling the largest. Your name is Cronus, it means time.. In time you will be big and strong, just like your daddy.. She nuzzled her- their, pups again. Orpheus was so small compared to Cronus. But she wouldn't let him die, no, she woldn't let any of her pups die. Riven gave a short growl as Freya shifted onto her tail. But it was soon replaced by a whimper and an attempt at a bite. Frame didn't like this, they were fighting already? She shook her head. Looking to Kortation. There were five of them, and only two parents, this would be a hand- paw, ful. A yawn ripped itself from the new mother's maw. This was a tiring job already. This certainly would be a handful. She gazed out of the den, staring at the crystals lining the walls. This was a lovely place. They would love it here when they opened their eyes. Frame's own amber one's closed as she curled tighter around her pups. Kortation at her side. She thought a moment. Man did they have strange names.. Oh, well, as long as they were happy and healthy. Frame sooned joined her puppies in the act of sleeping. She was happy, the sound of dripping water still not too far off. She would be a good mother to them, and a good alphena to the pack.. And a good mate to Korry. She nuzzled into his paw in her sleep, comfort in the contact surged over her.

x[Out.Of.Character]x ... x[Back.In.Character]x Kortation smiled. A mother and pup act. They were all sleeping. "Cronus." Kortation said. "I like it. Time.. Cronus. Alright." He nudged Frame one more time before leaving the den, and the view of the crystals came into view. They were so fascinated to look at. He looked back at the small openning that led to where his mate and the pups where sleeping. He started to walk out, and he said over his shoulder, "Cronus! He will be a fine son of mine. His name also sounds sexy, like mine!" He released a laugh that echoed through the cave and made it's way back up to Kortation's auds, and exited the cave. Frame was probably hungry. This time he wouldn't swallow fur, but he was going to get her something, anything. He was now a father, and he couldn't wait for the responsibilities that lay ahead. He sniffed the surroundings. They seemed so new because he'd been in that cave for so long. He looked back and the pale light that left the cave, and then he looked up at the dark night sky, in which it looked like small white sprinkles where stuck to the big black blanket that kept everyone safe. He pointed his snout towards the ground, eager to find a meal for his exhausted mate. He started to trott, his nose working hard on finding some prey. He caught the scent of a rabbit, but not the one from earlier. that rabbit was very smart if he ran right out of this territory. He stared at it for a while, stalking it. The rabbit was unaware that the wolf was about to pounce on him. He hid behind some grass, completely still so he can catch it off-gaurd. Kortation stopped breathing for a breif second and became completely quiet. He springed from the grass and right onto the rabbit.. or where he thought it would be. The rabbit took off, and Kortation had missed him. He followed after it, overcoming the small rabbit with stretching legs that carried him faster and faster until he dug canines into the small body. It tumbled over, squirming to break free, but Kortation had a lock on him. He held him down until the warm body became breathless and cold. He picked it up and carried it back to the faint light that glowed from the cave.

[Frame]

--- Frame couldn't help but chuckle in her sleep as Kortation's voice echoed off of the walls. But when he returned she was still sleeping. But Riven wasn't. Her own black ears were twicthing, so she couldn't distinguish sounds, but she could still 'hear'. Just not what was what. All of them could. They couldn't open their eyes yet, though, born blind and all. Riven let out a whine, squirming and writhing. After a few moments of trying to bite her mom, she gave one final nip. It worked, her mom awoke. Frame stared down at her, a little confused. She licked the top of Riven's head, placing her back in with the others, she'd wiggled free! Freedom! She lifted her head to go back to sleep, noticing Kortation there with a rabbit in mouth. She gave him a warm smile. How sweet... You brought me some food. She motioned for him to come sit with them. I had a dream.... It was odd, I was lying here and then you yelled from somewhere that, and I quote, "Cronus! He will be a fine son of mine. His name also sounds sexy, like mine!". It was rather comical..."

x[Out.Of.Character]x ... x[Back.In.Character]x "Ya, I rid get sfhood fer yoo." Kortation said, the rabbit in his mouth muffling his words. He set it down and licked his lips, just to grab it again and enter the den. He dropped it by his side in case Frame didn't want to eat it now. She seemed busy with the pups. Kortation released a chuckle, and said, "Well.. I did say that." His snout came down and he took big whiffs of the pups, not wanting to ever forget their scent. He looked back up at Frame and asked, "Hungry, by any chance?" he said, catching a glimspe of the rabbit at the corner of his eyes. She probably was, though. Her howl he heard earlier definately had the tone of exhaustion. He looked down at the pups.. the precious pups.. once again. He was so joyful because he knew that this day would come. He'll be able to care and raise them! Kortation led out a sigh. He left the den and turned around to look into it. "If you're hungry," he said, "Go ahead and eat the rabbit. I'm fine. I ate earlier." He turned around and left the cave once more. Kortation went to the creek that was several meters from the cave and he took long laps of water. He put his head back up and licked his lips and returned to the cave.

It is so cute to have a bunch of puppies! I was looking at our posts... And thinking, wow, look at now compared to when Aerian Forest started, we've grown a lot... I feel so old now.. Frame laughed, he had said it! When he brought his head down to sniff the pups, she licked the top, and nuzzled his cheek before he pulled up and asked if she was hungry. She gave a slight nod, more of her fur falling, just as it had. Damned summer! She was shedding for the summer, she hated this. Oh, well. He told her to eat if she was hungry, as he was leaving again. Korry, you'll be such a good dad... Her thought were inturupted by her stomach growling, and you can't feed pups on an empty stomach. She dragged the rabbit carcass over with her paw, getting rocks and crystals stuck in its fur. She ate her meal in silence, the pups were sleeping again, kicking one another and yipping in their sleep. She smiled, they were so precious. To her and to Kortation. Her brow furrowed when she looked back to Orpheus, he was so small compared to all of them. Including Freya and Riven, who were just smaller than the boys. She picked him up, the slow movement didn't wake the pup. His mother placed him next to her chest, letting him listen to her heart beat. Don't worry, my little Orpheus, mommy is here and she won't let you get hurt.. Riven took to eating as Osiris and Cronus slept. Freya was just holding onto one of Frame's teets as she slept. But Orpheus coughed, Frame looked down at her small puppy. She couldn't- no, wouldn't let him die. She placed him back among the others, he ate a little before falling asleep like the rest of them. She took to eating again as well. That's when Kortation returned from his momentary visit. She smiled at him, he would be a good father. And he probably knew that too.

x[Out.Of.Character]x Mussi, I started this site in July. That's like... oh. 6 months ago.. Ok that was a while back. xDD x[Back.In.Character]x Kortation came back from the creek and sat at the enterance of the den. He sat there a while watching the activities. He got up from his haunches a couple seconds later and started pacing. He could tell that he wouldn't be able to do anything right away if the pups are going to stay in the den for a month or so. He'd have to just wait and get food for him and Frame. That's all he could do for now, all that was avaliable at the moment. He looked up at the crystal-covered cieling. They were far too high to jump up and snap one off. He looked around the glowing cave, it's different hues each having it's own magnificent glow. He entered farther into the cave, and the crystals seemed to have glowed less dimmer. By the step, they started to begin to shine so lightly, as if he were in some spiritual grounds. As he went deeper, he noticed the crystals that were sprouting out of the ground. He went to a couple uprooting from the ground. He put a paw on on of them to see if they would easily come off. He was wrong. They were in there good. He placed his jaws around a small one and tried to snap it off. No such luck, either. He tried harder and harder until it started to come up from the ground. When he finally pulled it out, it was at least a meter long. At his best efforts to snap it, he found a small crack in it from tugging it out and snapped it right their. He carried the smaller piece back to the den. The crystal was quite bright, and it was bothersome to carry it in your mouth when it's right there blinding you. He faced his eyes up ahead, and sooner then he knew it, he was back at the den. He placed it at the enterance. It gave off a faint glow that sort of lit the den up. He grabbed it and planted it into the ground. "This'll do it." He said, standing back and looking at his work. He went back into the den. "That will show us where the den is in case we get lost or somethin', I dunno. It looks nice, though." Kortation added. He dug his maw into Frame's back, looking at the pups again. "Can I lick one, if you don't mind?" He asked. Kortation did have the right to lick his own pups.

[Frame]

I know, I feel so old now. Amber eyes watched as he went off again, from just outside the den to somewhere else. Her confused look turned to a wondrous one, once she saw what he had. A shimmering blue(It's blue now) crystal lodged in his mouth. He place it on the ground an surveyed his work. That was so nice.. Her thought were interrupted by a maw, in her back.. He asked if he could lick one. By all means, they're your pups too. She said, licking him. She smile as Cronus and Osiris woke, kicking one another and such. Regular puppy business. She smiled when they calmed down too. They began to eat, like Riven and Freya. Orpheus was sleeping this time. She giggled at him. He did the opposite of what they did, maybe he was smart. He'd eat while they were sleeping and sleep while they were eating. She gave them each a nuzzle, save for Orpheus. She didn't want to disturb his sleep. Instead she gave him a small kiss on his back. He was her little angel. Yes, they were all her little angels, she wouldn't let them ever leave her. She'd never leave them, either. Or Kortation. ((I decided something.. I'm going to play Orpheus, FOREVER!!))

x[Out.Of.Character]x Lol, okay. xDD Fine with me. JUST AS LONG AS I CAN PLAY OSIRIS!!! =DD x[Back.In.Character]x Kortation smiled as the pups made their way back and forth with sleeping and eating. He looked at the look-a-like, Osiris. He reached down and gave him a lick. The pup yelped happily. He smiled in response and looked back at Frame. "They're.. They're....." Kortation said, mumbling, "They're always what I wanted. Now I have it." His smiled seemed to get a bit wider as Osiris began to fall back asleep. Kortation found himself a good spot where he, too, would be able to watch the pups in the den next to Frame. He rest his maw where he was in-height with them, and he could see them puffing air in and out of their tiny lungs. He, too felt like a pup himself. He felt like one of them, even though he was only down at their height looking at them. His sigh was long and relaxing as he watched them tumble around and sleep. Orpheus was a thinker, wasn't he? He'd always do things after everyone else did them. That's quite smart for such a pup. Kortation raised his head and placed it on the black wolf's back, having a better view of the four pups eating. What great excitement it will be to raise pups!

Okay. I'll temorarily play Riven, and you can be Cronus or Freya and Jin wants to play Riven when she's old enough though. Hayley wants to play Freya when she's older. We need a Cronus... Hmm... Orpheus growled at Riven. Who just so happen to crawl on top of him, he bit her paw and she rolled off. Orpheus smirked his puppy smirk. Frame frowned at this behaviour. No, no. Orpheus, we don't bite each other. She said, licking him to make him calm down. To her pleasure he did. He wiggled himself over to her and lay near her heart again, finding comfort in the rythmatic noises. He was soon asleep, as well as Riven, who had been suckling again. She smiled down at them, turning her head to Kortation she kissed him before laying down again, herself.

x[Out.Of.Character]x I'll play Cronus. He's ma look-a-like. x[Back.In.Character]x Kortation almost fell alseep as well from Frame's song. A memory had found it's way up. She had said that she was only going to sing to him, and no one else. She had vowed that. Now she was singing to these pups. An acception can be made in this situation, though. A beautiful song would put these pups sound asleep. His eyes got droopy. That had went to show how absolutely talented she was. He shifted his paws around a little, rising his head from her back. His maw opened wide and his tongue curled in an attempt to yawn. His mouth snapped shut once more as he replaced his head on Frame's back. Her body was so warm and comforting. He shut his eyes tight as everyone else was beginning to do. Slowly, his excited feeling had seeped away and turned him into a tired being. Kortation drifted off into his own Lala Land of Oddness, and he was sound asleep. This dream had to be the oddest yet. It was a clear day and every single thing in sight had a faint diffused glow to it. Kortation was hunting when all of a sudden the rabbit popped up. His tail was still missing fur from Kortation's previous attempt to kill it. His big black shiney eyes glared at him. Kortation glared at him in return. The rabbit oddly turned into a mouse.. then a rabbit again, then a deer, a moose, and then a bear. The bear roared loudly, making Kortation's ears thump like a drum. As he tried to run into the opposite direction, the roots of the trees held him down. The bear came closer, and as he sniffed Kortation, he went on two feet, and around his waste appear a.... too-too. Kortation looked at him wide-eyed and oddly, as the bear asked him, "Tea party?" Kortation just stared at him in response. The bear got all mad because he had not answered and turned on music from a radio. It was.. music from the Renaissance Period. Kortation shreiked in terror as the bear began dancing clumsily. To Kortation this seemed like superb torture...

[Frame]

Okay. You get both look-a-likes! Frame woke with a sudden jolt. Her amber eyes shot towards Kortation, he'd let out a howl. She licked his cheek multiple times, nuzzling him as well. Shh.. Sh... It's okay, it's okay.. She continued to mutter incohenrent words to sooth him. She wondered what was going on in his head this time. She smiled when he calmed down a bit.(I think...) She slumped back into her paws, head resting there. She was quite happy, and rather warm. Her pups and husband sleeping happily. She rested her head on her paws, drifting off again. Her mind clouding and hazing. Her own dream was much more realistic than his. Her dream of pups with him had come true. But than the pups had grown very fast and they had won Aerian Forest..
