registration,

when you register, please register with your character's first and last name in all LOWER CASE letters. if you make a mistake, the staff will change it for you, but please don't make it a habit. after registering, you either need to reserve a canon, or just proceed to application filling. if you reserve a canon, you'll have two days to get the application up and ready. please run your application through a spell checker before you submit it.

roleplaying,

as we are an intermediate forum, we would like all posts to be a minimum of 300 words. we understand that at times we all have writer's block, but if you could please try and respect this count as much as possible, the staff would greatly appreciate that. however, we won't lie, we're quality over quantity. You must be either an intermediate or advanced role player to join as we don't want to have to baby sit our members. further more, if you're canon, act like it. all posts must be in third person.on this note, for the love of everything that is holy do not kill yourself over word length. It is quality not quantity and in all seriousness if you write a novel no one is going to want to read it. I don't want three paragraphs on how it was a beautiful day.

i know this seems like common sense, but no matter how many times you post something like this, people seem to ignore it. no mary sues! really now guys, no one is perfect! also absolutely no canon relations what to ever ~ if you want to try and talk something out with us, the best of luck. we will listen, but your character must be absolutely fucking fantastic.

claims,

all new members must post an application and have it accepted by an admin. period. if you are accepted, you may proceed to claim items such as a playby, cellphone number, email address, etc. etc. if NOT accepted, you must revise your old application or delete the old one and post a new one. DO NOT CLAIM ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED.

absences,

if you are going to be absent for a period of longer than three days, please post in the absences thread so that we know you are leaving. also, if we run periodic activity checks, we are asking that you please answer the checks. if you do not respond, the staff reserves the right to delete your character or put your canon back up for grabs. we don't like to do this, but we will, as we hate inactivity a lot more. also, if you're a canon character, please use the actors from the movie. also, just signing in does nothing. if you aren't being active with posting- yet signing in everyday, we will take your character out with out notice, especially if some one messages the staff with enquiries. so, make sure you're posting !

graphics,

as can be expected, the staff would love it if you had decent quality graphics. if you're not very good with graphics, you can request something either here, or through other sites such as ; caution, role play directory, rpg-u, 64 crayons and various others. avatars should be a maximum size of 200px x 300px. As for signatures, we will be pretty lax, as long as you're graphics don't stretch the forum, and aren't higher than 500 px. if you've read the rules, in your application, please tell us chuck bass makes me cream! anywhere you think appropriate. you are also not allowed any cartoon, or anime images. scene queens shall be kept to a minimum as manhattan's elite will tear them down. if your model is a problem, we'll let you know. for the most part, as long as you're realistic, you're alright. we don't want to see angelina jolie playing a grade nine.

rating,

we don't have a rating here for the site. if you have a thread that you know is going to be more mature, make sure to rate it M. In addition, we are not enforcing a 'fade to black' rule for scenes of a graphic or sexual nature. Read at your own discretion.

I just have a couple things to add.

1. Because we are a literate sight, the admins would love for everyone to use correct grammar. That means capitalization and punctuation. When role playing, you can either write in all lowercase with correct punctuation, or write like this. You know what I mean? XD

Bad example: Once upon a time theyre was a girl named blair and she wasnt nice

Good example: Once upon a time, there was a girl named Blair, and she wasn't nice.

See the difference? This includes the c-box too.

2. PLEASE POST IN CODE. We'll seriously ignore it if you do not. So please do.
