It was a bright sunny day on a Saturday afternoon. People, young and old, flocked to Aoyama to spend their weekends and their money in the pursuit of material gain, the bane of an affluent society such as is found in much of the modern world. Their own masks of happiness and laughter hid their true natures of dissapointment and inadequecy, and all of these psychological shortcomings were tied up into a neat little bow by Kira.
Kira was solving the problems of the world.
Kira was making the world a safer place.
Kira was going to bring the world into a new era.
But an era of what?
Q sat, mentally, but not visually, disgusted with those he found around him. His clothing was much the same as it always was, save for his pair of glasses being darkened now. His foot tapped impatiently on the ground as he ached to see someone different, someone who didn't immediately make it obvious that they were blindly following a faceless killer, both of men and men's minds. His arms crossed, making it obvious that he didn't wish to see or speak with anyone otherwise, and his critical eyes critiquing every psychological flaw he could find in a person's gait. It could be safe to say that when Jake got up, the bench would be shrouded in an aura of anger and disappointment.
