35 | Publicist / Manager | Freema Agyeman
So I'm going to make a small little request here for one of Robbie's oldest friends and Publicist. These two go way, way back. All the way to boarding school in England, Robbie was fourteen and Freema was twelve. They've been best friends since the day she shoved the school bully's head into a locker for teasing Robbie about his accent. (Especially impressive considering she was 4'9 and weighed about 90lbs at the time.) Despite being younger and smaller and decidedly more female than Rob, Freema's always taken on the role of protector being the outgoing (if sometimes brash) member of their duo. They couldn't be more opposite; Rob is the camera shy, anxiety ridden, artist and Freema is an in-your-face, no bullshit business woman, they work well together. Which is why they work together. Freema is Robert's publicist and manager. Unlike most though, she actually cares more for her client's well being than for her paycheck. She was instrumental in not only is two year sabbatical back in '06, but also his transition into directing, as well as his recent relocation to LA.
Robbie needs his best friend. She kicks his ass when he's being moody, forces him to be social when he'd rather stay at home, and makes him a thousand times less awkward in the public forum. He adores her, and obviously she adores him- she actually learned French for him! And you know, if you're interested there's always the possibility that their friendship could develop into more- he's got a loose romantic plan for the future, but that's going to come hand in hand with a lot of anxiety and indecision about whether or not it's a good idea (Freema probably won't think so since the woman will be freshly divorced). Idk, these two just fit so perfectly together and neither of them have ever really thought about the other as a potential romantic partner, but that could change so quickly.
I'd really love you to use Freema, but I'm flexible, so if you have someone else in mind we can discuss.
