Out of Character- +Pen name: Hasura +How you found out about us: From the other site o_O;;
In Character-
+Character's name: Kyra
+Race/Occupation: Mortal
+Age: 20
+Gender: Female
+Personality: Kyra is, perhaps, so strong willed that it puts her on the verge of being stupid. If someone can work her up enough she can become so filled with determination and anger that what she would normally do would be thrown out the window and replaced with something more rash. It's as if another personality appears when she's provoked, and this personality differs drastically from the one that is apparant when she is calm and relaxed.
This bit of her personality is prehaps her life savor. If she always acted so blindly and stupid she would be dead pretty quickly after getting herself into a fight with some man who held a gun or a pocket knife. There is some sense to her, though this sense can, and is often, thrown away when anger resides within her. Kyra, on most occassions, can think with a clear mind, and when her mind is clear, she does not prove to be lacking of intellect. The reasoning side of her makes sure to provide her with some advantages.
On the other hand, Kyra is a relatively nice person. It may be hard to get into a decent conversation with her, for her conversational skills are nearly flunking. She can say a 'hello', but that is about it. She nearly depends on other people to carry a conversation, because she freezes up and can think of nothing else to say. Perhaps it is this reason that she rarely talks to people, and when she does begin to talk to someone, she says a 'good bye' a little too quickly, and is on her way, berating herself for her lack of social skills.
She usually spends her time taking her college classes, and her free time is mainly spent doing projects and homework, and then working at her job. If she manages to have any time left after that, she'll either read, or simply go out on a walk, something simplistic and yet relaxing. She doesn't require much out of life, and would rather keep things as simple as possible.
+Physical description: Kyra is a relatively pretty girl, though she lacks the extravagence that other women posess. She is simply a girl, just by looks. Her body seems to lack the luxurious curves that emphasize being a woman. Kyra was a stick figure in her earlier years, and the years that have passed have done little to the figure, giving her only a few small curves, and nearly nothing else. It gives her a boy-ish look, and if she tried hard enough, she could possibly pass for a male, and not a bad looking one.
Her face is a nice oval shape, with large, expressive brown eyes. They are that nice chocolate color, neither so light that they nearly look amber, nor so dark that they appear to be black. Her eyes are surrounded by long, thin eyelashes, and above her eyes is the slight curved eye brows, almost busy, but yet, at the same time, not. Her lips are the classic cupid shape, and her cheeks are full, adding to the round appearance. Golden hair frames her face, falling down a little past her shoulders. The yellow hair is inpure, for shades of darker yellow and even brown can be seen in the thick mess.
+Role-play sample: Where were the women when you needed them the most? Jonailis could swear they all became scarce whenever he was around. No, that wasn't true. He was someone women could talk to, and at least feel as if they weren't being taken advantage of. It had taken a long time to perfect his talent, and he hadn't even managed to spot a pretty girl around here. He knew the female candidates were off limits, but he was sorely tempted to flirt with one of them if no one else came along. Screw the chances of getting thrown out. He wouldn't much mind. The lack of conversation between himself and another female was truly devastating.
Oh, he better stop with these thoughts before he really got depressed.
The boy sighed, heading down the hall with his hea hanging forward slightly. He would just get settled in, and then perhaps go examine this Weyr a bit more closely. Jonailis would have to familiarize himself with this new place, and only then would he go back to his old ways. He entered the Candidate Barracks, frowning slightly at the sight of Garin. Okay, so there were other Candidates. But, shells, why did it have to be a male? There would be no flirtations in his daily schedule, today, to say the least.
"Hey," he said plainly, picking out a bed to be his own and setting down his stuff. It wasn't much, just some pairs of clothing that would last him a sevenday without needing to be cleaned. There was some merchandise in there, but Jonailis had never been too enthused about lugging around valuables. There certainly weren't thieves here, but items could become misplaced.
Jonailis didn't bother to put the stuff in the trunk, leaving it on the bed as he turned his attention to Garin. He had came in a minute or so after Garin's stash of food had been placed in the trunk, and even if he did know, he wasn't going to ask for some because he knew he should be keeping to his diet. He was already showing signs of a tummy, and that was just horrid. "I'm Jonailis," he said in a clearly conversational tone. Making a few friends would be a good plan, and from the looks of it Garin didn't seem like the type that he would go out of his way to avoid. (Yeah, this is from a site, from another book series, so if some stuff doesn't quite make sense to you, sorry?)
